Interests: Asian Studies; I spent 12 years in grad school studying Asia, only 1 ½ years teaching it, but 13 years living in that region.

Since Graduate School I have been a History Instructor,(1 yr) Painting Contractor (15 yrs), Marketing Coordinator for Coffee Roaster and Distributor (5 yrs); ESL and supplementary education Teacher (6 yrs.)

Mr. (Duke)Larson's 10th grade World History class. That's when I decided I wanted to go to college and become a History teacher. That didn't work out , but I still love World History.

Favorite memories of Elmhurst Swimming Pool, East End Park: doing double gainers off the high dive; eating machine-made popcorn from the concession house because I was always starving after swimming and diving; checking out the girls on the pool bleachers.

Enduring bonds of friendship with York gymnastics teammates.

Playing 16" baseball behind York Cafeteria during lunch hour was always fun.
